It is convenient to install toolpacks with SETUP program, which is loaded and launched automatically after opening of AutoCAD (by double clicking on DWG file in distributive folder). Files of selected toolpacks are copied, search path is set and menus are loaded during installation. See for more details...

You can acquaint with functional capabilities of the GEOL_DH и KAI-2001 toolpacks by pictures and examples (see structure pages) and also by help files. Help files can be opened from explorer without AutoCAD.

Description of other settings and program authorization, description of program manual setup and uninstallation are given below.

To install toolpacks by hand execute next steps:

1. Download program and other files from site to corresponding folders and unpack ZIP files. It is recommended to create these folders in AutoCAD 2000-2012 folder. For recommended folder names see page 'Setup' .
2. Read license agreement (GEOL_DH_LICENSE_ENG.DOC), GEOL_DH_READ-ME_ENG.TXT file and УComputer requirements, program installation and settingsФ help chapter in CHM files.
3. Launch AutoCAD and by Option command (File tab) add to support file search path the folder where GEOL_DH and KAI-2001 programs are located (PROGRAMS folder), set search order depending on usage of programs (Move Up/Down). If you plan to insert blocks (KAI-2001 toolpack) add to support file search path the folder where blocks and slides are located.
4. Load menu file GEOL_DH_ENG.MNU and KAI_ENG.MNU by AutoCAD Menuload command (Menu groups tab) and insert GEOL_DH and KAI submenu in required place of main menu (Menu bar tab).
5. You can open GEOL_DHТs and KAI's toolbars (if it has not opened automatically) by selecting required menu group (in Menu group list) and checking corresponding box (dialog box is invoked by AutoCAD Toolbar command).

Notes:

• During program updating (file exchange) you must remove previous user parameters file GEOL_SET.LSP (GEOL_DH toolpack), if it has not been removed automatically by the program. Message about file exchange should appear at first launch of the program. New parameters file will be created automatically with values by default.
• After copying from CD you must remove read-only attributes from program files and attached files. Removing attributes from files not located in PROGRAMS folder is not obligatory.

Authorization procedure

After launching any program the program starts authorization procedure. In dialogue box for given version user enters serial number, authorization code and user (organization) name, all these information is granted to user after obtaining program license.

GEOL_DH and KAI-2001 are Shareware Programs.
For acquaintance with all options of the program user is granted a right to run 13 working sessions of the program in drawing(s) in full mode, to enter this you should exit authorization dialog box by pressing <RUN in FULL mode without authorization> button.

Note: Session starts with launching in drawing any GEOL_DH (KAI-2001) program. Session is not limited by time constraints and ends with closing drawing.

After 13 working sessions in full mode GEOL_DH program continue work in DEMO mode. Some options are blocked in demo version or have restricted functionality (see structure). KAI-2001 application in demo mode have limit of launch (only one time in opened DWG for every application).
